Permits

Some species need a permit in some provinces, states or regions. PerfectPal checks this from the location on your profile.

How you know

• The listing form says the species "needs a permit in your area".
• Settings › Verification shows a permit badge for that kind of animal, with Needed to list these where you are and the species.

Applying

1. Under Verification badges, choose Apply for this badge on the permit badge.
2. Under Which species do your permits cover?, tick each species your permits cover. Staff check your documents against each one.
3. Upload your permits and choose Send application.

Once staff approve it, the badge lists the species it Covers, and you can list those species. A species you asked for but staff didn't confirm isn't covered.

On your public page

Your page lists the species your permit badge covers, so buyers can see it.

Changes

If your permits change, apply again or contact support. Staff can also update the species a badge covers; you're emailed when they do.
