Questions sellers ask
Do I need to be a registered breeder?
No. Anyone can sell here, from someone with a few animals a year to a large breeding program. Breeder badges are optional and checked by staff. Until you earn more, your page carries the "New seller" label.
What does it cost?
Starting on Free costs nothing. The fees on card payments, and any paid plans, are under What it costs above.
How do I get paid?
Connect your own Stripe account from your dashboard. Card payments go straight to it and Stripe pays out to your bank; PerfectPal never holds your money. You can also record payments made another way.
Can it replace my own website?
Yes. Your page has your listings, your story, your reviews and a contact form, at your own address on PerfectPal, and you can share it anywhere.
What can I list?
Right now: birds, aquatics, corals, dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles and amphibians, saltwater fish and invertebrates. Every listing follows the go-home ages and species rules where you are.
Is PerfectPal in French?
Yes. Buyers and sellers can use PerfectPal in English or French, and your page shows its labels and buttons in each visitor's language. What you write yourself appears as you wrote it.
Where does PerfectPal work?
In Canada and the United States, with prices in Canadian or US dollars.
Can I stop whenever I like?
Yes. You can take your page down at any time, and delete your account once nothing is still open with a buyer.
