Refunds and disputes

Last updated October 11, 2026

Refund terms

Before you pay a deposit or other amount on PerfectPal, the seller's refund terms are shown and you accept them. Read them carefully: they decide when money can be refunded.

Who refunds you

The seller is the merchant for the sale. Refunds come from the seller's own payment account, back to your card. Message the seller first; most problems are solved that way.

Card disputes

If you can't resolve a problem with the seller, your card issuer may let you dispute the charge. The seller answers the dispute with the records of the sale, including the terms you accepted, any contract you both signed, and your messages on PerfectPal.

Payments outside PerfectPal

PerfectPal can't help recover money paid outside the site. Be careful sending money before you've met the seller.
