Guide
When orders complete
How an order moves from paid to completed, and what can hold it.
An order goes through these statuses:
- Waiting for payment: the buyer is at checkout. You don't see it in your orders yet.
- Paid: time to get it ready.
- Ready for pickup or Shipped: you've marked it.
- Completed: the buyer confirmed they have it, or the waiting period passed after you marked it picked up or shipped.
It can also end as Cancelled (a checkout that never finished) or Refunded.
The waiting period
If the buyer doesn't confirm, the order completes by itself a number of days after you marked it picked up or shipped. PerfectPal sets the number of days. An open problem pauses this, and the wait starts again when the problem closes.
Why completion matters
- A completed order counts as a completed sale toward becoming an established seller.
- Both of you are asked to leave a review. See Reviews.
