Go-home plans, visits and pickups

Agree how an animal goes home, let buyers book a visit, pickup or video call, and share a gone home photo.

The go-home plan

Once you've accepted a request, either of you can propose a plan on it under Going home: pickup from you, meeting partway, you delivering, or a hired transporter, with when and where. The other side agrees, and you can mark it handed over and arrived.

PerfectPal doesn't carry animals or arrange transport. The plan is what the two of you agree, kept on the record.

Bookings: visits, pickups and video calls

Today › Bookings lets buyers book a time from your open hours.

  • Buyers can book visits: for buyers whose request you've approved, optionally only after their deposit is paid.
  • Buyers can book pickups: for paid orders being picked up.
  • Buyers can book video calls: for approved requests, in the same hours. Add Your meeting link from the video app you already use; the buyer sees it only from 15 minutes before the call until it ends.

Set how long each booking lasts, how many per time, the notice needed, how far ahead buyers can book, and closed days. Where to go (your address, parking, what to bring) is shown only to buyers once they've booked. Times are in the time zone on your profile.

After a booking, record It happened or They didn't come. A missed booking you report can become part of the buyer's history once staff confirm it.

Whether bookings are part of your plan is shown on the page.

Gone home photo

After an animal goes home, you can Ask the buyer if you may show a photo of it in your Gone home gallery. Their name is never shown, nothing appears unless they say yes, and they can change their mind any time. On stock listings, turn it on per listing first.
