Block someone
What blocking stops, what carries on, and how to undo it.
You can block a person who's bothering you, from a conversation (Block under Safety) or from one of their requests (Block this person).
What a block stops
Once you block someone, they can't:
- send you messages in a conversation from your page;
- send you new requests;
- start a buy-now order with you. Your listing tells them you aren't taking orders from them.
You can't write to them in the conversation either, until you unblock them.
What carries on
Requests and orders already under way carry on, so money and animals already promised aren't left hanging. You can still end a request the usual way: see Cancel a request.
Undoing it
Messages › Blocked lists the people blocked from your seller pages, with Unblock beside each.
Buyers can block too
A buyer can block a seller, which stops that seller writing to them in a conversation.
When to report as well
Blocking only protects you. If someone is threatening, scamming or breaking the rules, use Report too, so PerfectPal staff can look at it.
