Guide
Photos and videos on listings
How many you can add, what happens to them, and how videos are converted.
Photos
- The first photo is the cover. Drag photos, or use the arrows, to change the order.
- How many photos a listing can have depends on your plan; the photo field shows how many you've added out of how many you can.
- Use JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF images at least 200 pixels on each side.
- Location data is removed from every photo, along with other hidden details.
- On a group of young, Add photos in bulk uploads a batch at once.
Videos
Whether you can add videos, and how many, depends on your plan. The video field shows the size and length limits.
- Choose Add a video. Keep the page open while it uploads; a dropped connection carries on where it stopped.
- PerfectPal converts it so it plays on any device, and removes location and other details. You can save and leave while it says Processing…. It appears on the listing once it's ready.
- Too big or too long? The field offers Compress it for me (or to keep the first part and compress it). Compressing happens on your device and can take a few minutes.
If a video doesn't appear, see My video isn't showing.
Videos can go on groups of young, stock listings and rescue listings.
